A series of hardwood posts or <LOG>s, buried more than a metre into the <TERRAIN>, either vertically or at a slight angle toward the opposing force, and projecting about a metre above ground level (the <<HEIGHT_AGL>> will vary from post to post). The post spacing is irregular, typically between one and two metres apart, with posts emplaced two or more per metre of front. Spirals of barbed <WIRE> may be woven among the posts. |
