A number between 0 and 1 inclusive representing the linearly-scaled fractional opacity (or alpha) of an <OBJECT> in the visual spectrum. The value is determined by how much light fails to penetrate through the <OBJECT>. Zero means that no light is blocked (all light penetrates) and one means that all light is blocked. |
